Getting care for someone you love is a big decision. We've designed our process to make it as clear, simple, and reassuring as possible — so you always know what's happening, what comes next, and who to talk to.
Tell Us What You Need
You reach out. We respond within 1 hour.
Call us, WhatsApp us, or fill in the form on our website. A care coordinator will get back to you within one hour — not a voicemail, not an auto-reply, a real person who will listen to your situation and help you figure out what your loved one needs.
We’ll ask a few simple questions: who needs care, what their condition is, how urgent the situation is, and who in the family is making the decision. If your loved one is being discharged from hospital and needs care urgently, we’ll fast-track the entire process — assessment within 24 hours, care live within 48.
You don’t need to know which package is right. That’s our job. Just tell us what’s going on, and we’ll guide you from there.
What happens next: We book a free home assessment visit at a time that works for your family.
Step
01
We Visit and Assess
A care coordinator and nurse visit your loved one’s home. This visit is free.
We come to you. In a single visit, we assess both your loved one’s medical needs and the home environment — so we have the full picture before we recommend anything.
On the clinical side, we look at their condition, mobility, medications, pain levels, personal care needs, and what support the family is already providing. On the home side, we check accessibility, safety, sleeping arrangements, and whether any equipment (a hospital bed, wheelchair, or oxygen concentrator) might be needed.
This isn’t a sales visit. It’s a proper assessment by qualified healthcare professionals who want to understand your loved one’s situation thoroughly — because the right care plan starts with the right information.
What happens next: We go away, build a personalised care plan, and come back to you within 24 hours.
Step
02
We Present Your Care Plan and Quote
You receive a written care plan and a clear quote — no surprises, no hidden costs.
Based on the assessment, your care coordinator prepares a care plan tailored to your loved one’s specific needs. This includes the recommended package, the type of caregiver (Critical Care Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Nurse Aide), the care schedule, what the caregiver will do each day, and any additional services we recommend.
Alongside the care plan, you receive a transparent quote — the monthly fee, any add-on costs, equipment if needed, and payment terms — all laid out clearly so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
We walk you through everything — in person, by video call, or over WhatsApp, depending on where you are. If you want to adjust anything (different hours, a different package, adding or removing services), we revise the plan and requote. Nothing moves forward until you’re comfortable with the plan and the price.
What happens next: Once you approve the care plan, we match a caregiver to your loved one.
Step
03
Meet Your Caregiver
We match a caregiver to your loved one — and you meet them before care begins.
We don’t just send whoever is available. We match based on clinical qualifications, experience with your loved one’s specific condition, language, personality, and the ability to reliably reach your home. The goal is a caregiver your loved one feels comfortable with — someone who fits, not just someone who fills a slot.
Before care starts, you meet the assigned caregiver — in person at the home, or via video call if you’re abroad. You can ask questions, get to know them, and confirm you’re happy with the match. If you’d prefer a different caregiver, we offer an alternative within 24 hours. No care begins until your family is satisfied.
What happens next: We finalise the paperwork and confirm the start date.
Step
04
Confirm and Pay
You sign a simple service agreement and pay a 50% deposit to lock in your start date.
Our service agreement is written in plain language — not legal jargon. It covers the scope of care, the schedule, fees, cancellation terms, and our commitment to replace a caregiver within 24 hours if needed. It’s there to protect you and to make sure both sides are clear on what’s been agreed.
A 50% deposit of the first month’s fee confirms the placement. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of care starting. From month two onwards, the full fee is due on the 1st of each month.
We accept M-Pesa, bank transfer, card, and international transfers — so paying is simple wherever you are in the world.
What happens next: Your start date is locked. We prepare for Day 1.
Step
05
Care Begins
Your caregiver arrives with our care coordinator on Day 1 — and we stay until everything is settled.
The first day matters. That’s why your caregiver doesn’t arrive alone. Our care coordinator comes with them to personally introduce the caregiver to your loved one and your family, walk everyone through the care plan together, confirm the medication schedule, check any equipment, and make sure every detail is in place.
Your family receives a short “What to Expect” guide covering how and when you’ll receive care updates, who to contact for day-to-day questions versus emergencies, how to request schedule changes, and how to request a caregiver change if needed.
At the end of Day 1, your care coordinator calls to check that everything went smoothly and to address any immediate concerns.
What happens next: We check in again at 72 hours.
Step
06
72-Hour Check-In
We call you three days in — not as a courtesy, but to make sure everything is working.
Within 72 hours of care starting, your care coordinator contacts you for a structured check-in. We want to know: is the caregiver a good fit? Is your loved one comfortable? Is the schedule working? Are there any concerns we didn’t catch in the assessment?
If anything needs adjusting, we fix it immediately. If the caregiver isn’t the right match, we offer a replacement within 24 hours. If the care plan needs tweaking, we revise it and confirm with you the same day.
Problems caught at three days are small adjustments. Problems caught at three weeks are complaints. We’d rather catch them early.
After this: Your loved one is settled into ongoing care, with regular updates sent to your family and a care plan that adapts as their needs change.
Step
07
If you’re caring for a parent or relative from abroad — or from another town in Kenya — everything above still works the same way. In fact, it’s designed for you.
Every step of the process works over WhatsApp and video call. Your assessment can be coordinated remotely. Your caregiver introduction can happen via video. Your care plan and quote are shared digitally. And once care begins, you stay connected through regular written reports, visit confirmations, video updates with your coordinator, and a direct WhatsApp line to a named person who knows your loved one’s case — not a call centre.
Payment is simple from anywhere: M-Pesa, bank transfer, card, or international transfer.
We call this Remote Family Care, and it’s built into every package as standard — not as an add-on and not as a premium. If you’re managing your loved one’s care from a distance, you don’t need a separate service. You just need a care provider that understands your situation. That’s us.
